Terms and Conditions

These terms govern the use of the Validarium web and mobile applications for tracking expirations, documents, contracts, inspections, and other deadlines. The service is operated by Pavel Zaněk.

User account

When creating an account, the user must provide accurate information and is responsible for securing their login credentials. The user must not allow unauthorized use of their account.

Device and Cloud modes

In the mobile app's Device mode, data remains only on the user's device until the user chooses to transfer it to Cloud mode. Cloud mode stores and synchronizes data through Validarium servers and makes it available in the web app, on other devices, and in shared workspaces.

Cloud attachments

Cloud attachments are stored in private object storage. Storage is shared by all account workspaces: Free provides 1 GB, Pro 25 GB, Family 100 GB, and the prepared Business plan 500 GB. Each attachment may be up to 10 MB, and JPEG, PNG, WebP, and PDF files are supported.

Users may store only content for which they have the necessary rights. Illegal, harmful, or third-party-rights-infringing content is prohibited. Once the limit is reached, no additional attachment can be uploaded until capacity is freed or a higher limit becomes available.

Plans, payments, and cancellation

Free is available without charge. Pro and Family can be purchased monthly or yearly. Paddle processes payments as merchant of record; invoices, payment methods, and cancellation are managed in Paddle Customer Portal. Paid access starts only after server confirmation. After cancellation, the plan remains active through the paid period.

Shared accounts and downgrade

The account owner manages billing and members. Members access only assigned workspaces. A downgrade does not delete data: excess workspaces may become read-only and excess members may be suspended. Reading, JSON export, attachment downloads, and deletion remain available.

Availability and changes

Validarium is under continuous development. Features, limits, appearance, and service availability may change. Users will be informed appropriately about material changes to these terms. Users remain responsible for checking entered data and notifications and for keeping any independent backup they consider necessary.

Liability

Validarium helps users track deadlines but does not guarantee that an obligation will be fulfilled or that every notification will be delivered. The service does not replace legal, tax, or other professional advice.

Ending use of the service

Users may delete their items, attachments, workspaces, and account to the extent supported by the application. Removing cloud data also removes the related attachments from active storage.
